St Matthew's C.E Primary School

"On Thursday, the Debate team went to St George’s Primary School to take part in the Telford North Cluster RE debate. We were opposing the argument “Charity begins at home” against St George’s school. They had very valid points and strong arguments, however we were the winning team. Altogether there were 7 schools (as one school couldn’t attend, we became the opposing team for Redhill Academy) and out of all of them our debate was referred to as “the best”. We had a very enjoyable time along with excellent refreshments with squash and cookies (there were some for the staff as well) it was superb. We would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Jenkins for helping us to prepare for the debate.”
