St Matthew's C.E Primary School

Today children from St Matthew's Primary School participated in the Indoor Cricket competition held at Telford Tennis Centre. The children were competing against a range of schools from the Telford and Wrekin area. The game encompasses two main skills: batting and fielding. Each team had to strike the ball into the net to score points. The team improved from the first game all the way through the tournament and were scoring more points in the final game. We finished in 5th place out of 8 teams and the children were credit to themselves and the school with their impeccable behaviour and sporting etiquette.
